We are ‘Vriddha Mitra’, truly the friends of older people!
We at ‘Vriddha Mitra’ are committed to work for the Elderly (aged 60 years and above / also referred to as older people, elders and senior citizens) of our society. We initiated this process in 2018 and with pride we share that we have reached out directly to more than 150000 (one hundred and fifty thousand) older people in the last three and a half years, through various activities across the country by way of creating community based support systems, ensuring social protection, extending recreation, conducting health care check-ups, supporting with assisted devices and undertaking humanitarian response, including COVID-19.
